The Jewellery Tree & A Little Lifetime Foundation
This range of Remembrance Jewellery was developed in response to the growing number of requests and enquiries I had since starting The Jewellery Tree, for jewellery to honour and remember these little angels. It is my hope that these pieces will give grieving mums and dads and their families something tangible to hold onto that they can carry with them wherever they go.
If you have your baby’s footprints or handprints that were taken by a hospital, they can be imprinted into silver. I use a good quality photocopy, there is no need to send the original prints. If you don’t have prints but would still like to have a footprint or handprint then standard prints can be used to represent your baby if you like.
Mothers Bracelets
Our Mothers Bracelets are a really beautiful way for a mother to carry a keepsake of her baby with her all the time. These bracelets can be personalised with a name in sterling silver letter blocks and Swarovski crystals in birthstone colours for a significant date such as date of birth, loss or expected due date.
Sterling silver charms with symbolic meaning can be added to the bracelet, these include a butterfly, a dragonfly, crosses, hearts, forget-me-nots, a lily, stars, and awareness ribbons. The butterfly for example represents the soul, and signifies a short life. The dragonfly can symbolise the transition of grief from the dark depths of despair to being able to see the sun again.
My Little Bean
“My Little Bean” is a design I came up with to represent a baby lost to miscarriage. A solid silver bean (about the size and shape of a coffee bean) with a cubic zirconia stone set into it to represent an important date, or simply to match a colour like pink for a girl or blue for a boy. “My Little Beans” come in two sizes, a pendant size and a slightly smaller bracelet size.
